I've had trouble in the past with Power Management due to Systemd. It<br>
seems like Systemd does not honor Power settings set through the<br>
applet. It happens on a lot of distros, and not just Ubuntu.<br>

If Systemd is the culprit, then you need to mask some of the power<br>
functions. See the section 'Disable suspend and hibernation' at<br>
<a href="https://wiki.debian.org/Suspend" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">https://wiki.debian.org/Suspend</a> . Or more generally,<br>
