Is it the reality check that comes home causing this feeling ? ie, you
had an idea of how to do something (complete a backup to a cloud server)
but when you unpacked your idea a little deeper with a few list friends
you got annoyed because they pointed out that data on someone elses
server is no longer yours ?

Or that other people could now copy or access the data that once was
yours ? (you gave it up freely believing it was secure, possibly based
on some Trust of that cloud server, but not knowing that you had no
control of who could help themselves to it)

Or is it simply a belief that big tech did the right thing with your
data and only allowed you, as the account holder, to access it ?

Hey Mal,

Do us all a favor.
