<div dir="ltr"><div>I like the idea of a front facing camera inside a rear-view mirror (it seems easier to conceal and obstruct removal - both deterrence to theft), however I suppose the orientation of the rear-view mirror would affect the view from the camera. The gopro is tiny, records sound and GPS, does 30 fps @ 3840x2160, and actually fits behind my rear-view mirror so doesn't block my vision.<br>

In my little truck, I've mounted cams low on the rear window because its about 6 inches behind me.<br>

Of course there are other options by other companies that attach to the mirror or mount on the dash, etc, but they tend to be lower quality.<br>
<br>
Anyway, all the dash cam video from Russia is what got me using them years ago, so I guess whatever cams are a best-seller in Russia might be worth trying.<div class="HOEnZb"><div class="h5"><br>
