<div dir="ltr"><div>Good afternoon,</div><div><br></div><div>Over the last week or so we've been having some issues with the mailing list, specifically with regards to DMARC authentication with some large, free mail providers. This issue has affected a large proportion of the mailing list subscribers. </div><div><br></div><div>We contacted the Canoncial engineers and they have been very responsive in helping us to resolve the issue. The fix for this is non-trivial as it involves upgrading the server to allow for newer versions of mailman to cope with the upgraded DMARC requirements.</div><div><br></div><div>Affected users are unlikely to see this message as they will have been automatically unsubscribed by the software. I am sending to the list to ensure it's made available on the public archives [1] as affected users may be following there.</div><div><br></div><div>To resolve this issue we have been advised of the following maintenance advisory from Canonical engineers, please take note and contact the ubuntu user mailing list moderation team [2] if you have any further questions or concerns.
