Then I tried to restart the computer and it didn't work. Then I booted from the live disk and everything worked fine. I'm now copying all the files from my home directory and the config files for my most important applications. I have the deb files for fglrx_8.960-0ubuntu1_i386 driver, and the one for the catalyst center. It has been copying fine and I have been using both drives in the box for over 2 hour now. I don't know if there was a problem with the new kernal or if it didn't install properly. I'm going to do a fresh install of Ubuntu 12.04 and hopefully the system won't crash when the new updates get installed. Thank you; Stephen </div> </div></body> </html>
