</div></div>Ubuntu uses UTF-8 locales by default, and for some reason you've<br>
specified the obsolete ISO 8859-1 here.<br>

Try setting lang to en_IN.UTF-8 instead, wherever you've done so<br>
(~/.bashrc? ~/.profile?).<br>
