Same thing happens with Gthumb as well What I've tried is <ul> <li>Reinstalled EOG ( no effect it crashes as before )</li> <li>Removed EOG and installed it again ( no luck )</li> <li>Installed Gthumb ( same thing happens, it closes it self automatically)</li> </ul> when I try to launch eog or Gthumb from command line I'm getting following error on the screen after it closes eog DSCN3282.JPG or gthumb DSCN3282.JPG eog: /build/buildd/cairo-1.12.1~really~1.12.10~glasen~ppa1/src/cairo-mempool.c:160: get_buddy: Assertion `offset + (1 << bits) <= pool->num_blocks' failed. Aborted (core dumped) any idea...?? how to resolve the issue ???
