I just installed Ubuntu 12.10 on a Lenovo Ideacenter with an i5 3rd
gen CPU. The machine has four 2.0 USB and two 3.0 USB.
I record a podcast using Audacity. I've noticed, since the
installation, while recording, the recording will stop. I then have
to manually stop the
recording and start again.
I did a tail -f /var/log/syslog to find a bunch of urb err -27
lines. I've
tried to search for what this error points out, but cannot find what
error
-27 is. Does anyone here know?

Is that literally all the error says? Does it not at least tell you
which device is generating the error?

that is it. it does mention that it is a kernel error, but does not
clue me in on a device.

Can you copy and paste a bit of the log please? Give a few lines
before the error also.

Thank you Frans.

That's interesting. I have a USB web cam connected, but don't use
it. It happens when using my Blue Yeti mic when recording podcasts.
I've disconnected the Logitech and will see if it continues. I've
also connected the Blue to a USB 3.0 port to see if that makes a
difference.

Thanks again.
