Hi 12.04 users,<br><br>I am new to Ubuntu, working with lightdm.<br><br>I like using multiple workspaces, but i don't like the<br>desktop maximization of any app in a new window when i switch to it.<br><br>eg, i open a terminal app, position it to fit a low, less then full screen size.<br>
i switch to a different workspace & upon my return terminal is full size!<br><br>(worse, i dont know how to unmaximize at that point)<br><br>i size position windows where i want them and resent this lightdm's attempt to 'help'!<br>
<br>any way to disable the behaviour?<br><br>TIA, jackc...<br><br>
