It seems to be Chromium from Ubuntu repositories.

Then it's a bug.

Freddy i had trouble with Chromium when i tried a while back. I
switched to Chrome downloaded from google [not recommended i
gather] but it has been fine for the last couple of releases of
xubuntu i've used it on.

<br>
I know a lot of folk don't like the google tracker being
incorporated in Chrome but they also sort out a few problems with
the code i think. Chromium had a problem with passwords i recall
but yonks ago now. I found Chrome fast and a better alternative to
Firefox.
