in touch with each other making Ubuntu and all the other Open
Source software possible.<br>

booted into Windows and update both in just a few minutes
directly from the </font><font face="Courier New, Courier,
monospace">applications themselves.<br>

P.S. I found that 'gscan2pdf' is the best scanner software
available, at least in the </font><font face="Courier New,
Courier, monospace">Ubuntu Software Centre</font><font
face="Courier New, Courier, monospace">. However, the Ubuntu
Software Centre only has version 0.9.32 which has version 2.0 of
the 'Tesseract-OCR' engine in it. '</font><font face="Courier
New, Courier, monospace">gscan2pdf' 1.0.0 is now available I am
in the process of installing it, as it has a clear set of
instructions and scripts. Based on the dates of the files in the
archives, it may include version 3.01 of the </font><font
face="Courier New, Courier, monospace">'Tesseract-OCR' engine.
If so there are a great many more languages and scripts that
version 3.01 recognizes.<br>
