While installing from USB at one stage during the installation it asks whether to unmount the ubs disk (not the exact phrase but something likely). I generally dont unmount it and I have not till now faced any problems as such.<br>

I tried to set up manual partition with swap space and a ect4 drive for "/". </font></font></font></div><div><font size="2"><font color="#009900"><font face="verdana, sans-serif">5. I also tried the default partition option to install along side Windows 7 in the 11.04 installer. </font></font></font></div>
