I as a rule ping <a href="http://yahoo.com" target="_blank">yahoo.com</a>, it also works. After the failure neither my gateway address nor <a href="http://yahoo.com" target="_blank">yahoo.com</a> are reachable, from the laptop, wired still works fine. Before that they both work either wired or wireless!
