I just purchased a Toshiba Satellite L675D laptop and installed Xubuntu
10.10 on it. The wireless card is not being recognized. I found an
article online that mentioned a file from the Realtek site
(rtl8192se_linux_2.6.0010.1012.2009.tar.gz) but it failed to build

My laptop has a 64 bit AMD processor, with Xubuntu AMD 64 installed

my kernel from <uname -a>:
Linux 2.6.35-22-generic #33-Ubuntu SMP x86_64

and the Realtek devices from <lspci>:
02:00.0 Network controller:Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. Device 8176 (rev 01)
03:00.0 Ethernet controller:Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL84102E/RTL8102E PCI Express Fast Ethernet controller (rev 05)

any help you can give me on getting my wireless up and running would be greatly appreciated

Thanks
