</div>Upstart replaced SysV init in Ubuntu. Getty processes for virtual<br>
consoles are set up in /etc/init/tty1.conf through tty6.conf; you can<br>
set up a serial console by creating /etc/init/ttyS0.conf, based on one of<br>
