Richard, Thanks for this advice, which I've tried to follow. But I fall at the first hurdle. I try to get into my BIOS (by interrupting the start-up sequence, right?) but I don't seem to get any way to disable the onboard lan. The nearest I get is a reference to the Lan boot setup, which is already disabled. Am I looking in the wrong place? <div><br></div><div>John<br><br><div id="SkyDrivePlaceholder" style="font-size: 10pt; "></div><font class="Apple-style-span" size="2">> From: ratcheson@gmail.com</font><br><font class="Apple-style-span" size="2">> To: ubuntu-users@lists.ubuntu.com</font><br><font class="Apple-style-span" size="2">> Subject: Re: Problems loading driver for external antenna</font><br><font class="Apple-style-span" size="2">> Date: Sat, 18 Dec 2010 16:19:20 -0600</font><br><font class="Apple-style-span" size="2">> </font><br><font class="Apple-style-span" size="2">> On Saturday 18 December 2010 11:30:08 John Everard wrote:</font><br><font class="Apple-style-span" size="2">> > Would anybody please be able to help me load this driver, explaining what</font><br><font class="Apple-style-span" size="2">> > keys I need to press where?
