I thought Nathan had hijacked my thread. I just went back and looked and the wording of his subject was slightly different than mine so maybe I did. I don't think it makes a lot of difference though as it appears him and I are talking about the same problem and it's likley any help either one of us gets will help the other. I gave a lot of info on my first and second posts to the thread. I did however comment on one of his posts comparing his problem as compared to mine but didn't think I was hijacking the thread as I thought it was mine and it may have been?? I am going back to 10.04 today as I have work to do in Cinelerra and don't want to fool with this problem any longer. A little later I will come back to itmaybe by then the problem will be resolved.
