Methinks you have problems elsewhere. You didn't mention what type of network connection you are having problems with. Ethernet? Wireless? Give us some more clues. It was working perfectly alright before I installed sshd and tightvnc today. By the way, is there anyway to bring the machine to some old state, say few hours early state, so that I can know what changes caused the problems. Thanks. csv
