Regardless, what you want to do (which you perhaps already know, in<br>
which case this response will be pretty useless to you) is to start an<br>
X server on :1, somehow configuring it so that it uses the 2nd<br>
display, keyboard, and mouse.<br>

Unfortunately, I don't know how to do that. (I warned you this email<br>
would be pretty useless). I'm also wondering if/how well it will work<br>
if you have a single video card (as opposed to 2 separate video<br>
