I had a problem with Synaptic, it was showing a number of packages
maker for removal, but would not allow me to unmake them.<br>
<br>
Attempting to fix that problem I apparently bork somethng badly.<br>
<br>
Synaptic will not now open, it beging Building Dependency Tree and them
simpl vanishes<br>
<br>
apt-update works but<br>
apt-get upgraded fails with<br>
Segmentation faulty tree... 50%<br>
<br>
I have tried a lot of thing suggested in other email but so far nothing
works.<br>
