you. That said, I've had to reinstall Ubuntu MANY times. Instead of
getting answers (when Google didn't yeild an answer) I end up with
people who want to act like I wasn't invitited to the Linux "party". So
I reinstall. THIS time it has no fixed my problem, but I've already
reinstalled, 3rd time for 10.04 in vain. The 2nd point I'll make... I'm
on >1-year on Ubuntu. You mention 10-20 years experiance. Geez, a
year later & I can't get help fixing this... maybe Linux really
isn't for 99.99% of people out there. I wasn't trying to join an
exclusive club, more like be on the ground floor of a movment. <br>

I maybe way ahead of you, but only because I like to diddle, install
new apps to see how they work, if I like them, I'll keep them, or
delete...I've been a Ham Operator for 35yr's, I've enjoyed building
electrical projects, and watch them work via my own homebrew computers</b>...<br>

system has by using all of the different linux commands, I have saved
those for future reference...Since it is hard to remember them, it's a
good practice to do, this is very helpful...</b><br>

So what I am trying to say is hang in there, play around with your

again, I've posted a problem, and have had only one, or two people try

attitude I have not really seen here on this list, but have on other
lists, for which I ignore...No this is not an "</b>exclusive club" <b>as
you mentioned, but a way to help others if you can...<br>

It's a learning curve for all of us, so hand in there, my friend you'll
