I am trying to use a 3g modem on my new 10.04 box.<br><br>However, after following the installation procedure provided inside the modem I have got an odd situation.<br><br>When using a terminal I can ping, resolve names and navigate using lyinx.<br>
<br>Firefox runs in offline and I can go in File->Work Offline and turn it on-line again.<br><br>No other gnome app seems to find the connection - not even Network Config<br><br>If I run gnome-ppp I am able to connect the internet - but the same problem persists.<br>
