tried to load the installation abuntu files from the cd that came on
"The Official Ubuntu Book", and I get an error window that says it can
not open the installation flies. I also went to the UBUNTU site and
download the operating system, and I also get a window that says
"Windows cannot open this file", then it tells me to either "use the
web to find the appropiate program, or to select a program from a list
on my computer".<br>
Has anybody have an idea of what I need to do?<br>

Could you tell us which book you have on Ubuntu? Then tell us
which version you got in the book. And the one you downloaded from the
Ubuntu site, what is the name of that file?<br>
