Seriously, I'm a Solaris admin by day, and use Ubuntu everywhere apart<br>
from my DMZ and my SUN workstations at home, complete with a network<br>
install configuration and a Ubuntu LTSP - if this was me for<br>
provisioning Solaris machines on either x86 or SPARC, I'd stick with<br>
JET..<br>

JET just works.<br>

You've already saved by consolidating/virtualising by putting the<br>
Solaris in a VM, if you want/need to build more Solaris machines, let<br>
JET strut it's stuff from there.<br>

One last thing ...<br>
What we say at work, "best for class".<br>
e.g. NetIQ might work great for Windows, but in our experience is<br>
dino-dung on UNIX - so UNIX used Hobbit/XYmon..(and saved us a truck<br>
load of cash)<br>
