full monitoring of ink levels, ink balance, ink control etc. The cost of<br>
Turboprint is well offset by the cost of ink saved.<br>
Further, my MP750 is actually in the foomatic database now; works for<br>
the most part... until you go to print labels or some other critical<br>
alignment job. Wasted a bunch of labels & ink until I realized that I<br>
was using the standard driver.[1] Switched the driver back to Turboprint<br>
and everything aligned perfectly. The standard driver also doesn't<br>
provide the added ink control etc.<br>

One other bit of advise; create multiple printers using the same<br>
printer. Set the default to black & white MP190BW, set up another (using<br>
the same printer of course) as MP190Color, MP190Photo, another as<br>
MP190Duplex etc. That way you open your app, print to the most<br>
appropriate for the job. You can of course 'tweak' the settings in the<br>
particular printer for the print job if need be.<br>

[1] Yes I also report bugs for the standard driver as I think it<br>
important to keep improving the standard foomatic drivers.<br>
