I have no idea why this is happening, I've noticed some sporadic unique and short beeps trough the last days, but today I ran "aptitude" and got scared on how many beeps my machine was making (I even thought my no-break was going nuts, but confirmed it was the PC and related to apt).<div>

<br>The beeps start right after "sudo aptitude update" or "sudo apt-get upgrade" (even if there's nothing to be upgraded), and ceases when I get the prompt back.</div><div><br>I tried to google this but didn't find anything relevant.<br>
