Hello Friends,<br><br>I have jdk4 tar file . copy that tar file in /opt directory and un tar it . it is create jdk4 folder . after set the path .<br><br>export JAVA_HOME=/opt/jdk4<br>export ANT_HOME=/opt/ant<br>export PATH=$PATH:${JAVA_HOME}/bin:${ANT_HOME}/bin<br>
<br>When i run java -version command then it is telling me java version is 1.6 . Before installing jdk 4 in my pc java 1.6 is already installed . I just remove path of java 6 and install jdk4 <br>but it is not working . <br>
