<div dir="ltr">Hello all. I am looking for an application for the following scenario: I have a folder with thousands of executables and documents. These are different device drivers and tools downloaded from the web from various official sites, for instance: files downloaded from Intel's site for an on-board sound chip.... I am looking for an application similar to Tellico, I can point to that folder and it will scan the files and automaticaly catalog them into a database, (using one or more web-based resources for that). After the initial scan, I go through it and when I am satesfied, I can export it to HTML. The information I want is: The file name (obviously), the version, size, location and description. I am sure there's an application with such capabilities. All official files are known and should be identifiable. All the files from the Microsoft Knowledge Base have very specific names, like kb35987.exe, so I am sure there's a way to query some online database to get the file details....
