Folks.<br><br><br>I use ASUS U81 Ubuntu 9.04<br>or <br>Virtual machine with UBUNTU 9.04 under Virtual Box (3.0)<br><br>I observed the following <br><br>I cannot run  gnome-terminal in root mode via main menu.<br><br>1. I click root terminalme in main menu<br>
2. I observe notification that root terminal has been starting<br><br>but no root terminal application<br><br>then notification about strting root terminal closed.<br><br>In case I run from command line sudo xterm. Root x terminal started with success. Other program(e.g. Synaptic) that requires root priviledge work good.<br>
in case i run from command line :<br>gksu gnome-terminal<br>I observed the following message:<br>Failed to contact the GConf daemon; exiting.badger-alex@badger-house-laptop1:~$<br clear="all"><br>Could you help me in this case?<br>
