this is for 8.10, you might want to look up a new tutorial for 9.04<br><br>but the first method I try, and the one that works without fail is to boot up into 9.04 using the live cd, insert a usb flash drive with at least 2gb space and go to "System >> Administration >> USB startup disk creator" where it asks you how much space you want to set for a persistent install, I usually give it like 1 to 2 gb so all the stuff I install stays in memory :)<br>
