Back on this subject again... after a lot of playing around with nvidia's driver, I now have Xinerama running two displays, but mplayer plays my movies still quite bumpy, although the sounds is okay. However, I discovered that without sound: $ mplayer -ao null test.mov the movie is fine. On the other hand, gxine plays a fine movie but the sound comes out in blocks. This makes me think that the problem may not be the graphics, but instead the sound configuration. When running `mplayer' with `-vo x11' the problem does not happen. There are no issues with the sound. Is there some way to debug and discover exactly which library is causing the problem? edudfla.
