What kind of keyboard do you have? I mean what country? I think you might have chosen the wrong keyboard when you installed Ubuntu. I would use the key board test option when installing. It asks you to type some keys so it can identify your keyboard. <br>

Hello, I need some help with Ubuntu 8.10 with kernel 2.6.27-9 generic. When it's start the boot process, it hangs. If I hold some key, the process continue normally. I don't know which is the problem. I post a screen-shot with the output of the boot process.<br>
