I have gone through GRUB, trying to delete and reset my password, where I was able to delete it, but then resetting it only lets me enter one character before the next confirmation entry appears. I tried entering a new password with one character (figuring if I could get in, I could then change in within the system?), however it did not work either.</FONT></STRONG></DIV> <DIV><STRONG><FONT size=2></FONT></STRONG> </DIV> <DIV><STRONG><FONT size=2>My install was as a Windows XP Home application (wubi?), on an external USB 2.0 drive. Everything seems to work ok, except for this login problem.....</FONT></STRONG></DIV> <DIV><STRONG><FONT size=2></FONT></STRONG> </DIV> <DIV><STRONG><FONT size=2>However, as a last resort, I tried to uninstall and try it again, however whether I used Windows Control Panel, or directly with the uninstall.exe program on the drive, after clicking, I only get some short Hard Drive activity and then it just stops.
