<div dir="ltr">If I load firefox and listen to anything over the internet and then attempt to play an mp3 using rhythm box or movie player, there is no sound and in the case of rhythm box, the position bar does not move. If I reboot, then rhythm box and movie player work normally. If on the other hand I were then to try to listen to anything over the internet, then there is no sound unless I reboot and start with the internet. I use 'auto-detect' for sound but have tried ALSA, OSS and pulse with the same results. I have a DEll Inspiron 600m with a built in sound 'card.' Thanks for any help. Gary </div>
