thanks for the replies The case is brand new, there is not dust inside I have check the air flow, it seems alright. I will run a memory test to check if there is anything wrong on them. they do all show up in my OS, which is 8GB I am going to ask around see if I will get anything. Is the front and rear vents clear? Is their dust building up on them? You have to have air flow through your system. Second, look at your cables. Can air flow easily through the system? If air is blocked by cables, esp hard drive cables, things can get hot. Unless you have a really old system I don't think you can put the ram in incorrectly. How much ram do you show you are running right now? If you have 1GB installed and you have access to 1GB then its working. It might be a bad stick of ram though.
