It is dual boot in my system.And in XP,the sound is coming.But not in ubuntu.Can u plz tell me where command prompt option in ubuntu<br><br>

<div><br>Hi there, good morning from stateside.<br><br>What kind of soundcard do you have?<br><br>Give a quick check of your speaker wires, be sure they are plugged in and no wires are loose.<br><br>At a command prompt, type 'gnome-alsamixer' and check out the settings there.<br>
