I have installed Ubuntu 7.10 64 bits edition and I can't see the splash when I start or when I halt the computer. The curious thing is that, at the same computer, the 32 bits edition splash is shown perfectly. Is there any error on the 64 bits version with the splash? Currently I have deactivated the splash by removing «splash» from the bot options at the GRUB, but it would be better if I could see the splash.
