Very often, when updates are available, the list of changes is "not
available". Sometimes it can be days before the list of changes becomes
available. Sometimes I guess never, but I've never waited that long ;-)

A case in point is the broken vmware update (there's a real annoyance,
it's still hanging around like a bad smell. Who should be told about
that?), but also recent updates to flac and a few other things today.
It's quite common.

How come? *Why* are updates made available, with no information about
them?

Regards, K.

--
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Karl Auer (
