Maybe the taskbar-applet responsible for displaying open applications has disappeared from the taskbar. Try to right-click on the taskbar, and select "Add..." then select the applet called "Window selector". I'm not sure if that's the real name, and I'm not at my Ubuntu box right now. Maybe someone else can specify the exact name, or you try different ones from the list.

Hi all!

I've been experiencing a strange problem after an upgrade from Feisty to Gutsy.

Now, when I launch an application it does not show down on the taskbar. The only way to switch between running applications is using "Alt + TAB".

It's to annoying.

Any idea anyone?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Fran.
