You have to get the Linux driver from the supplier, but it works without problems for me. I am using it from Kubuntu 7.04 and Slackware 12 now, and have used it from Arch and Slackware 11. My reason for choosing it instead of a Samsung is that the user manual tells you how to overcome the demand from the printer cartridge chips to change cartridge.
