Hi, all --

I just loaded Gutsy on my computer. It seems to work OK -- except for
one thing. All of the files and directories in my home directory
appear on the desktop! There's a directory marked Desktop that
includes what it's supposed to (almost empty -- just a terminal), but a
whole lot more stuff appears. Any ideas why?
Thanks.
LOL that is how I would do it but I don't know much . . . sort of a dirty solution to the problem. I am sure someone will come up with an elegant method. Or I would simply reinstall Gutsy clean and then copy my /home to the fresh new system. I did that on my laptop and was pleased. I installed over the copy on my desktop computer.
