Evolution crashed on my laptop this morning. I got it to run, but I was missing roughly 1 year of emails. The folder involved seems to be the local Inbox folder. I deleted the .cmeta file associated with it, in an attempt to force Evolution to refind the Inbox emails. All the other folders appear to work properly. The Inbox file in .evolution/mail/local is about 1.5GB in size and has 5 years of emails in it. I was able to copy and open the Inbox file without any problems and it has emails from today in it, ie nothing appears to be lost. How do I get evolution working properly again ?
