Hi,

This is kind of a trivial question.
The other day, I was checking email on my ubuntu machine, and I saw that a .doc that someone had emailed me showed up in gmail with a Microsoft Word icon next to it. That kind of ticked me off a little (grrr :-) ) - never thought I'd see a microsoft icon on Ubuntu. Anyone care to explain where the icon image came from - it doesn't get embedded in the email, does it?

Note: the doc opens normally with openoffice (and the proper icon) once I save it to my computer.

Thanks,

Jimmy
