Have just upgraded to Feisty and Gaim has gone completly bonkers.

Am using Kubuntu but due to lack of space, I thought I'd try switching to Gnome and then remove kde but ......... on opening Gaim within Gnome, its width just exploded on it's own. I had to keep clicking and dragging to the left to get the the right side.

If I tried to click on the right edge and move the mouse to the left to make the app smaller, the opposite thing happend .... it just kept growing.

If I click on the right edge and move the mouse right to make it wider ....... nothing happens.

It now has kept the humungus width even after switching back to kde!! It really is ENORMOUSLY wide.

I did start to remove gaim through synaptic but I would have to have removed ubuntu-desktop too. If I did remove ubuntu-desktop, would I then be able to just reinstall it after gaim had been removed?

If I want to remove Gnome altogehter, removing ubuntu-desktop wouldn't
impair on kubuntu-desktop, would it? I don;t think it would but just to make sure.

Any pointers??!! lol

CIA

-Ants
