Hi all,<br><br>I have installed opencv 1.0 in Ubuntu 6.10, but when i try to run some<br>
of the examples that import video from my camera (dv using firewire)<br>
(e.g lkdemo) it doesn't work and I have the following message<br>

Could not initialize capturing...<br>

My camera works with Kino when I use /dev/dv1394/0<br>
but not when I use /dev/raw1394<br>
<br>
Moreover I can capture with dvgrab and<br>
gscanbus also works.<br>

also all the modules are loaded<br>
<br>
dv1394 22104 0<br>
raw1394 30584 0<br>
ohci1394 37040 1 dv1394<br>
ieee1394 306104 3 dv1394,raw1394,ohci1394<br>

and raw1394 has the right permissions and it is in the video group<br>
<br>

Does anyone have succeded in setting up a firewire camera in opencv?<br>
