<br></blockquote></div><br>A faster machine will not do you any harm, but I doubt it's the sole cause of your problems. <br><br>Are you using any addons with your copy of Firefox? Try disabling them all and see if your cpu cycle consumption drops off - re-add them one by one until you find the guilty party. I'm assuming of course, that the high CPU utilisation is reproducible.
