initial install of Edgy on this laptop, the CPU scaling appeared to work. I had
the toolbar applette installed, and I could see it shifting between two
different speeds. After installing updates and some minor things (nessus,
wireshark, nvidia-glx packages), and rebooted, I get a popup saying CPU Scaling
isn't supported on my processor.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>
