oh, let me explain further...<BR>

there is a printer setup app, I selected new printer...<BR>
then proceeded to make the hp printer icon... that is where I start to have problems..<BR>
its not allow me to use cups or I should say, the first line is URI<BR>
So, I enter the ip address: 192.168.0.11 ( yes, it does have a jetdirect card installed )<BR>
then proceed to pick printer type, and give a name... select test print.. NOPE.<BR>

Did not have this problem in Kubuntu... (none at all )<BR>

So, I am looking to set it up via the printer app, not command line (Please)<BR>
trying to see, where I went wrong... or if its a bug.<BR>

<FONT COLOR="#000000">your specific problem is (of course I just might be dense). I'm assuming</FONT>
<FONT COLOR="#000000">you are printing via JetDirect? If it were me, I would type the</FONT>
<FONT COLOR="#000000">following at a shell prompt:</FONT>
<FONT COLOR="#000000">user@ubuntu:~$ sudo lpadmin -p HP-LJ-5si -E -v socket://192.168.0.11:9100 -m \</FONT>
