Installation was easy even though I only have a very basic knowledge of Linux. Can I use XGL on my laptop? My laptop has 1 GB ram and Intel Extreme Graphics Media Accelerator 900 with up to 128 MB shared memory? All the websites I saw about XGL only talk of NVidia and ATI. If I can, will the performance be good on a 1.8 GHz cpu. If no, is there some other way of getting those cool effects on my laptop while keeping my Ubuntu (I have tried some other Linux distros and I like Ubuntu most.
