I m having a legal issue in using the LAMP(Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) Logos in a printed media advertisement. The questions are; 1. Whether it's possible to use the logos in a printed media without the proper approval from the mother companies. 2. In the case of Linux Logo or GNU logo, from whom can i get prior approval. 3. If Redhat or Ubuntu is listed is it necessary to get the approval from them even after mentioning that these logos are the Trademarks of the following companies. 4. In such cases, can anybody in Sri Lanka sue the institute or the media or the person who's putting up the advertisement. Thankyou, -- Gayal Rupasinghe
